The first 'Nepal Climate Convergence 2015' was held in Kathmandu, SAP-Phalcha, Babarmahal from 18 to 19 November 2015. Climate Convergence discussed about Climate Justice, Climate negotiations, media outreach, art workshops and community organizing for Peoples’ Climate March.
At least 57 participants of diverse ethnic groups, place of origin and academic backgrounds joined the sessions. Participants were from Hetauda, Chitwan, Dadeldhura, Dang, Dolakha, Pokhara, Kapilbvastu and other cities/towns.
Jiwanta Nepal was also one of the organiser of the program alongwith Digo Bikash Institute, Youth Alliance for Environment (YAE), Car Free Cities, Himalayan Climate Initiative, Nepalese Youth for Climate Action, We Inspire Nepal, Beyond 2015 - Nepal Hub, YUWA among others.
Youth attending Convergence will organize climate march and ground actions on 28th and 29th November in their cities.
